Special/Case Orders
We offer many, if not most, products in the store in full, unopened cases at a 10% discount for Central Co-op members! These cases must be preordered.
While we’re quite flexible, there are a handful of things to know about placing Special/Case Orders.
To place a Special/Case order in Seattle, please use the button below to place an order online (or if you’d prefer, call the store or ask when you’re in). The online order form will be forwarded to the appropriate department, and a member of that department will contact you with any questions about your order.

Special Orders FAQ
What can I order?
Nearly all grocery items and most produce items are available, with other departments considering case orders on an individual basis. The main limitation is that you’ll need to purchase an unopened case/bag of product, which is typically a 6, 12, or 24 pack for items with a UPC and a large bag or box (usually 25-50lb) for Bulk and Produce. For items in the Health and Body Care and Supplements departments, you must order six units minimum.
How soon will I get my product?
Lead time varies widely by product and distributor, so please allow at least two weeks for ordering and delivery.
We will notify you when your order is available, or if there are any issues with availability. After notification, you will have 7 days after to pick up your order. All payments will be received at pick up — we cannot accept payment ahead of time.
If you have not heard from us, your product is not ready. You do not need to call to check on your orders.
Can I order cases of products that are on sale?
If you are placing a Special Order for an item currently on sale, please note that orders must be placed the Wednesday before the end of the sale period (e.g., if the item is on sale through Tuesday, April 23rd, it must be ordered by Wednesday, April 17th). This is the only way we can ensure receiving the case in enough time to provide sale pricing.
If you have questions, please call the store or ask an employee when you're here. We cannot offer any flexibility with this deadline.
Can I return something that I purchased through a Special Order?
Returns of Special Orders in the Grocery department are considered on a case-by-case basis. If the item is something the store carries, and the product is unopened, we may be able to provide a refund. If the product is something we don’t currently carry, we may not be able to refund the purchase.
Special orders from fresh departments — Produce, Meat & Deli — cannot be returned once they leave the store. Customers also must accept the entire case as is — oranges in the case cannot be swapped out for oranges off the shelf, for example.
