Variations on a Guac

Guacamole is a very simple food, yet it can be made in many different ways. Some people have a recipe that they are fiercely loyal to, but maybe you’re looking to add a little variety to your guacamole world. If so, we’ve got a few interesting variations on the old classic, just in time for Guacamole Season:

Guacamole from Smitten Kitchen
A version of classic guac - more like an avocado salad with a minced white onion, chile and cilantro flavor bomb of a lime dressing.

Kale Guacamole from Love & Lemons
Classic guac’s zesty flavor and creamy texture, but with steamed kale to make it extra green and healthy.

Smashed Pea Guacamole with Cilantro, Ginger and Lime from Food52
A jazzed-up, even healthier version of classic guac. High in protein, vitamin C, and healthy fats.
