Join us for a spirited tasting event featuring ciders from Finnriver Cidery.

Finnriver grows over twenty varieties of traditional and heirloom apples in their organic orchard, to feature in their traditional and specialty ciders. They source organic WA dessert apples for their contemporary ciders. And they also glean wild apples from their neighbors and local homesteads for their community harvested "Farmstead" cider.

Featured Ciders:

Apple Abbey - A yeast adventure results in this silky, full-bodied cider. Lingering sweetness from the apples brings out tropical aromas of ripe banana, with hints of pepper and clove spice. A low acidity allows the lees to wander and create a gentle cloud. Nutty and bread-like finish.

Sidra - This cider begins with aromas of unripened olives up front, offers slightly briny notes on the mid palate, and then finishes with gentle nuances of bitter oak and pine needles. Cloudy in the bottle and the keg, the Spanish generally take their cider un-carbonated and at room temperature; we bend a little and give this a gentle bubble while allowing the lees to persist and deepen the nutty bitterness.

Fire Barrel - A robust, bold and balanced taste of traditional cider apples— with a whisper of whiskey and rye spice; smoky aromas; notes of caramel and vanilla; and a mature, tannic finish.

Black Currant Lavender - Finnriver's Black Currant Lavender Cider celebrates the botanical bounty and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.  A special summer release, this refreshing purple-hued sparkling cider features the organic Washington apple fermented and blended with the sweet and tart delights of black currant.  Add to that the delicate floral notes of organic Sequim lavender, sourced from Purple Haze farm, and you have a delicious taste of the summer season.
