Happy 40^th Anniversary Central Co-op!

Forty years ago, on October 16, 1978, 100 founding members of Central Co-op opened the doors of our first storefront on the corner of 12^th and Denny. The new store featured wholesome and natural foods that were responsibly sourced, with a sizable selection of bulk goods taking center-stage! Today, our Co-op has expanded its footprint and its product selection, grown to over 14,200 members in Seattle and Tacoma, brings out-sized economic impacts to our community, and we look forward to re-opening in Tacoma!
