Indie Month: Celebrate the Power of Independence!

It’s our sixth annual Indie Month! Throughout July, it has become a tradition to showcase the hundreds of independent businesses whose products we carry.

Why Indie? The companies we’re selecting are not owned by Wall Street shareholders, are not funded by venture capital, and aren’t controlled by a parent company. We believe that being unbeholden to profit-driven investors allows businesses to be more authentic and rooted in their communities as well as giving them more freedom to innovate.
 
We want to show off just how many cool and interesting independent businesses are represented on our shelves! Look for the Indie Business tags in our Tacoma and Seattle stores!
